Find Useful Advice About The New Wolverine Movie
There was a period when Hollywood evaded comic properties similar to the epidemic. With second-rate renditions of classic characters like the Punisher, Captain America, and even the Fantastic Four – the latter two being worse that they wind up as straight-to-video releases – Hollywood has grasped the notion that comic book materials do not command a following that is large enough to ensure a blockbuster.
In 2000, a comic-based movie altered such a perception.
Bryan Singer took comic book’s number one franchise, the X-Men, and made an excellent film out of the same. The outcome is a trilogy that gathered billions of dollars in earning.
The X-Men films are widely recognized as the movies that opened the gates of Hollywood for highly successful superhero flicks that followed – Spider-Man, Blade, Daredevil, the two Fantastic Four films, and even the reboot of Batman and the return of Superman to the wide screen.
The X-Men trilogy, nevertheless, has completed its run.
Nonetheless, fans should not worry as Marvel Comics and 20th Century Fox are scheduling a sequence of movies centering on the genesis of the mutants we have grown to love.
Number one of these flicks is X-Men Origins: Wolverine, planned for a May 1, 2009 showing. Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as the titular character, even if, the movie will be set some 17 years earlier than the occurrences of the first X-men film.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the narrative of Logan’s unearthing of his mutant abilities, his addition to the Weapon X series, his transactions with William Stryker, and his falling out with the said organization.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine will present a slew of new mutants direct from the comic book chain, like the motor mouth assassin, Dead Pool – portrayed by the popular Ryan Reynolds – and the furious Cajun, Gambit – played by Taylor Kitsch. Sabretooth, of course, will play a crucial part in the movie, being a central figure in the Wolverine saga.
One of the things to see in the movie is the revelation that the Weapon X program doesn’t mean the letter X, rather, it refers to the number “ten,” with Wolverine being the tenth administration venture made for mass destruction. The finale of X-Men Origins will position Wolverine against the new edition of the program, Weapon XI. This will probably be one of the best dvd movies.
It’s going to be slobber knocker!

Frequently Asked Questions...
Recent Action Comics storyline....?
Ok now in Action Comics #846 (the Geoff Johns/Richard Donner run) Clark is sent to the by Phantom Zone by General Zod. Issues #847 through #850 deals with Superman not being around and how others cope with the loss. Issue #851 goes back to the Phantom Zone storyline and then issues #852 to current issues deal with Countdown and Bizarro World. My question is...how in the hell did Superman escape the Phantom Zone? Did I completely miss an issue somewhere (like an annual issue) or did they completely drop the storyline. If they did drop the storyline then why are they still using the Christopher Kent character in the Superman comic?
Answer:
No, you didn't miss anything. Due to scheduling problems, the last two parts of the "Last Son" storyline will be in Action Annual #11.
Rumor has the annual shipping in January 2008, but I'm hoping it will be sooner.
