Rubber Mulch Landscape
Mulch is one of the most important materials that are used for farming, gardening, and landscaping. It has several qualities that help both the plants and the caretakers. It provides a much better quality soil for your plants, which, will of course, grow healthier. In addition, it makes the job of the gardener, farmer, or landscaper easier by taking care of or minimizing the impact of common problems, such as moisture retention, bug control and root protection. Because of its many uses, manufacturers offer their customers lots of different types of mulch, which have varying qualities and appeal to different requirements and likes.
In all of the different types of mulch that are made, rubber mulch is one of the most general types of mulch. It is used mostly for landscaping. Landscapes that use rubber mulch for their disigns can be referred to sometimes as rubber mulch landscapes.
Rubber mulch landscapes are very common due to the many qualities and benefits that they get from rubber mulch.
The main benefit of a rubber mulch landscape is looks. Rubber mulch is pretty much almost black, as it is made from old recycled tires that have had their steel bands stripped. This is a design that is very liked by landscapers because it give them the freedom to give a nice contrast. EG, a rubber mulch landscape could have walking paths that are indicated by rubber mulch, or it could have flowerbeds, which, around the outside, circles of rubber mulch in order to ensure that they stand out even more.
And if you find that a dark grey or light black is not to your liking, rubber mulch can be painted in lots of colors. Some colors may look like other material colors, such as cedar wood. The other colors are there for just to look nice, like the blue, green, or yellow. Usually, the color exterior of rubber mulch do not fade until a very long time (perhaps as long as ten years or more). It then reverts back to its original black color. This varied range of colors allows for many different rubber mulch landscapes designs. For example, blue rubber mulch can be used to represent a river or a stream.
Rubber mulch landscapes also can sometimes include playgrounds. These types of rubber mulch landscapes tend to be safer for children who like to climb playground equipment. Since rubber mulch is somewhat elastic, it provides a bit of cushion in case children fall off playground equipment, and in consequence, reduces injuries.
Finally, another type of rubber mulch landscape that most people ignore is horse areas. When put together with sand, rubber mulch is really good at giving horses hooves a much better grip and footing. However, while it is obviously very goo for areas that horses run in, it cannot be recommended for the places where a horse sleeps.

Frequently Asked Questions...
How long could a horse run in the desert?
"Fit" horse, "average" desert (hot, flat, sandy). Writing a scene in a novel that I hope won't make horse-lovers go "That could never happen!" Any other thoughts/tips/reality-checks about riding in the desert would be helpful! Thanks!
Answer:
Well, when I imagine a horse running in the desert, I immediately think of an Arabian horse with large flaring nostrils and a long flowing tail held up proudly. Arabians are known for their endurance, but on average I wouldn't expect any normally fit horse to flat out gallop for more than 15 - 20 minutes. If they were cantering (which is slower than a gallop) then I suppose about 30 - 40 minutes would be acceptable. Generally, the faster the horse goes, the shorter the time period that they are able to maintain that speed. For example, if a horse was walking in the desert, it could basically go all day. However, as you have mentioned that the terrain is sandy, and not solid - like a dirt ground - then the horse would have to work harder to gallop, which means he might only be able to run for about 15 minutes or so.
